General Questions
Is our data backed up in case of an emergency?
Our hosting partner makes backups of your data on a nightly basis. The hardware is also fully redundant so even if one disk or server fails nothing will be lost and the system will not go down. The uptime is over 99%.
Is Toast Print reliable, secure, and confidential? Is our data safe? Where is the data hosted?
We take all reasonable precautions to keep your information safe and secure. Our state-of-the-art redundant cloud server cluster is hosted and professionally managed by Rackspace, a recognised leader in high-end hosting. You can read about their 100% Uptime Guarantee Service Level Agreement (Cloud Sites SLA) and what makes Rackspace the best place to host mission-critical websites
What are the system requirements to run Toast Print?
Basically just a browser!
Toast Print is not a 'software' that you need to install - it runs on the browser that you normally use to access pages on the World Wide Web via the Internet. To get the best from Toast Print we recommend you use one of the following modern browsers (to download one of these browsers for free, please click on the following links):
- Internet Explorer (IE) 8 (PCs only)
- Mozilla Firefox 3+ (PC and Mac)
- Safari 3.1+ (PC and Mac)
- Google Chrome 3.0+ (PC and Mac)
Do you provide phone support?
We provide unlimited support via email for our paying customers, but we do not provide support over the phone at the moment. We do our best to respond to every email within just a few hours of receiving it. We also make sure that all emails are answered internally at Toast Print. We never outsource our support overseas or employ unqualified support staff!
Whenever I try to log in, the login page just reloads and doesn't display an error message. What's am I doing wrong?
The most common cause of this is that your browser isn't set to accept cookies (a cookie is a text-only string that gets entered into the memory of your browser). Toast Print requires that cookies are turned on so the application can track your session and know who you are as you use Toast Print.
Instructions for turning on cookies in most web browsers can be found by Googling "How to Enable Cookies" or "How to control cookies". For more information on cookies, see this Wikipedia entry.
The other possibility is you have a firewall or security system set up that is too strict. It's preventing cookies from being accepted or Javascript from being run. Toast Print needs both cookies and Javascript in order to function properly.
Are there signup fees? Termination fees? Any hidden fees we should know about?
Absolutely not. We do not believe in any one-time extra fees in doing business. We don't charge signup fees, termination fees, or any additional fees. You only pay if you upgrade your account to a Premium Printer Subscription.

How does your refund policy work?
Toast Print is a month-to-month, pay-as-you-go service so we don't provide refunds. You are billed every 30 days for the service. You can cancel the service at any time and you won't be charged again, but you are responsible for any charges already incurred.
Can we install Toast Print on our own server?
We don't offer installable versions of the Toast Print platform. Toast Print is only available as a hosted solution. We maintain the servers, the security, all the updates and improvements so you don't have to worry about anything.
